جنگل الیمستان؛ زیبایی به توان هزار

وقتی صحبت از رویا، نهایت زیبایی و البته لذت می‌کنیم باید از جنگل الیمستان در شهر آمل نام ببریم. جنگلی که نامش را از رویش گیاهی با نام «الیما» گرفته و به طلای سبز ایران معروف است. این جنگل از تهران در کیلومتر 140 و از آمل در کیلومتر 20 جاده هراز و در روستایی به همین نام قرار دارد. در واقع جنگل الیمستان مسیری است برای رسیدن به قله‌ای که از آن دریای خزر و کوه دماوند به‌خوبی خودنمایی می‌کنند. آب‌وهوای پاکیزه و روح‌نواز، دورنمای قله دماوند در کل مسیر، دشت‌های زیبا، جنگل‌های مه‌آلود، چشمه‌های فراوان، اسب‌های استثنایی، درخت‌های سربه‌فلک‌کشیده و هزاران زیبایی دیگر شما را در این جنگل جادو می‌کند. البته این جنگل یک شگفتی دیگر هم همراه خود دارد. نرسیده به قله، دو حفره بزرگ می‌بینید که می‌گویند جای پای دو شهاب‌سنگ است، اما بومی‌ها معتقدند این دو گودال جای زانوی رستم است و وقتی می‌خواسته از آب دریا بنوشد زانو زده و این دو گودال ایجاد شده‌اند.
