بیش از 4000 هزار هکتار وسعت تالاب شادگان است آب این تالاب ترکیبی از آب شو و شیرین است که باعث به وجود آمدن تنع زیستی جالبی شده است
زندگی در این تالب بر روی آب جریان دارد ، روستای سراخیه در میان این تالاب است.
