نصیرالملک؛ مسجد صورتی

صورتی‌ترین مسجد دنیا این‌جاست! این مسجد رنگین کمانی زیبا به کسانی هدیه می‌کند که صبح زود از خواب بیدار می‌شوند و سری به آن می‌زنند.

«نصیرالملک (مسجد صورتیِ ایران) مثل تماشا کردن از داخل یک زیبابین است.»

روزنامه واشینگتن پست چنین نوشته و در ادامه مطلبش به زیبایی‌های کم‌نظیر این بنای تاریخی و مذهبی در شیراز اشاره کرده‌است.

تاریخچه

این بنا به دستور میرزا حسن علی خان ملقب به نصیرالملک، که از اعیان و اشراف شیراز بود، ساخته شد. معماری آن کار محمد حسن معمار بوده‌است. مدت ساخت آن حدود ۱۲ سال و از سال ۱۲۵۵ تا ۱۲۶۷ خورشیدی به طول انجامیده است. مرمت، حفظ و نگهداری این بنای باشکوه و ارزشمند با رعایت استانداردهای بین‌المللی مرمت آثار تاریخی از سال‌ها پیش توسط موقوفه نصیرالملک به تولیت آقای محمود قوام آغاز شده و همچنان ادامه دارد. در و پنجره‌های رنگین شبستان در سال ۱۳۴۸ توسط استاد حاج میرزا آیت ساخته شده‌است.
